Welcome to the

Farm Where You Live Market

Bringing the Homestead to Your Doorstep

Farm Where You Live started with a simple idea: to connect seasoned farmers, new homesteaders, and makers in a community that values self-sufficiency and real food. What began as a homestead fair, featuring workshops, demonstrations, and passionate vendors, quickly grew into something much bigger. Our events brought together people with a shared love for sustainable living, traditional skills, and the homesteading lifestyle.

Over time, we realized that this community’s desire for connection and quality products extended far beyond the fairgrounds. That’s why we launched the Farm Where You Live Market—an online marketplace designed to bring the best of homesteading, homemaking, and sustainability directly to you.

Our marketplace offers a curated selection of goods from small-scale farmers, artisans, and creators who share our values of faith, community, and living simply. Whether you’re looking for handmade soaps, homestead books, farm-fresh market items, or workshops to expand your skills, the Farm Where You Live Market is your hub for homestead living—wherever you call home.

We are proud to stay true to our roots while embracing this new chapter, and we’re excited to continue building a thriving community of like-minded individuals. Together, we can grow, create, and connect—whether at a homestead fair or in the comfort of your own home.

Over time, we realized that this community’s desire for connection and quality products extended far beyond the fairgrounds. That’s why we launched the Farm Where You Live Market—an online marketplace designed to bring the best of homesteading, homemaking, and sustainability directly to you.

Our vision is to cultivate a thriving community of homesteaders, makers, and dreamers by connecting them with the tools, knowledge, and goods needed to embrace sustainable living.

High Praise from Great People

We have been outrageously spoiled by the family that we have built since we started our first event. Here are some kind words that have been said about our band:

Farm Where You Live Fairs give you the knowledge and skill to successfully grow and secure your own food supply whether you live in town or country. Investing in techniques to flourish when others barely survive beats any retirement plan; it's even better than buying gold. Mainstream American culture seems oblivious to the problematic trajectory we're on; farm where you live dares to question the downward spiral and brings us together with upward solutions.

Over of the best gatherings for local homesteaders. Great place to make new friends that become family, learn new techniques to improve homesteading, and come home with local handmade wares. And above all else, a sense of belonging to a community that's far reaching letting you know you aren't alone in this lifestyle.

I went to the first ever Farm Where You Live event in 2022, and I loved it so much that I signed up to be an instructor at the next event. Farm Where You Live isn't just a place to learn about the homesteading/farming lifestyle. It is also a place to surround yourself with a community and find the people who just get it.

I have been to two Farm Where You Live events: the 2 day festival that was held in Fountain Inn last Fall and today I went to the Pork Processing event in Greer. These events are all first class. You learn so much and you meet like minded people, which is not usually an easy thing to do for us in the homestead community. The world class speakers and instructor lineup are just the icing on the cake. I've gotten to meet and have great conversations with people like Permaculture Pimp Daddy Billy Bond and his son William, The Hollar's from The Hollar Homestead, Megan Height from Living the Height Life, and the Lunatic Farmer himself Joel Salatin. There are many others but you'll just have to come out and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did!
