Welcome to the Farm Where You Live Marketplace (“Marketplace,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using this website and making purchases, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. General Terms

  • The Farm Where You Live Marketplace is an online platform connecting independent vendors with customers.
  • Farm Where You Live does not own, manufacture, or fulfill any of the products sold by vendors.
  • Each vendor operates independently and is responsible for their store policies, fulfillment, and customer service.
  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers purchase directly from individual vendors, not Farm Where You Live.
  • Before purchasing, customers should read the vendor’s product descriptions, shipping, and return policies.
  • Customers must provide accurate information at checkout, including shipping details and email addresses.
  • Customers agree not to use the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or inappropriate activities.

3. Payments & Transactions

  • All transactions are processed securely via PayPal or Stripe.
  • Farm Where You Live does not store payment information or process refunds on behalf of vendors.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring payment details are correct before completing a purchase.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping times and costs vary by vendor. Each vendor sets their own shipping policies.
  • Tracking details will be provided if the vendor offers them.
  • Farm Where You Live is not responsible for delayed, lost, or damaged shipments. Customers must contact the vendor directly for shipping concerns.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Returns and refunds are handled by individual vendors.
  • Before purchasing, customers should check the vendor’s return policy listed on their store page.
  • If a vendor does not respond to a return or refund request, please notify us, and we may review the case. However, we do not guarantee refunds.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Customers agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse vendors or other customers.
  • Use false information to make purchases or attempt fraudulent transactions.
  • Attempt chargebacks without first contacting the vendor to resolve issues.
  • Post misleading reviews or engage in deceptive practices.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Customers must contact vendors directly for any order issues, including refunds, returns, and product concerns.
  • If a vendor does not respond within a reasonable time, Farm Where You Live may intervene at its discretion.
  • We are not responsible for vendor disputes, but we encourage ethical business practices.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Farm Where You Live is a platform and is not responsible for:
    • Product quality, accuracy, or condition.
    • Lost or damaged packages.
    • Vendor delays, errors, or failures to fulfill orders.
    • Financial losses due to transactions with vendors.
  • By using the Marketplace, you agree that any claims regarding products or services must be handled directly with the vendor.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content, including logos, text, images, and branding, belongs to Farm Where You Live or respective vendors.
  • Customers may not use any content from the site without permission.

10. Termination of Accounts

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate customer accounts if they engage in fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
  • Violations of these Terms may result in being banned from the Marketplace.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of South Carolina, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Spartanburg County.
